 I LET THE MUSIC SPEAK"SOLDIERS"
A personal point of view:
I find it difficult to understand how people with a common purpose can even enter into battle with others of their own kind, but sadly it seems to be human nature for some.
The ABBA world has not escaped this sad side of life. We are all here as one, united in our love for Agnetha, Björn, Benny & Frida = ABBA.
So why after all these years is there still point scoring between fans?
This page is to make it very clear to all that we have not and will not take part in any such fan wars.
We do our own thing and it seems we get excluded by others or seen as a threat by some. I have never understood why but there you go!
We do support ALL the fan magazines / fan clubs / and web sites. We are happy to promote any of them here or in our magazine.
Despite the rumours we constantly hear we work well with the A.B.B.F fan club in Holland, I am personally a member of the club! ,. INTERMEZZO MAGAZINE, again we are members same goes with many others.
Mostly I'd like to point out that we do support the web site ABBA MAIL. I find it upsetting that some out there are enjoying saying we are at war with them. This is not and has never been true. The people running ABBA MAIL, Graeme and Grant have been what I consider “friends” for 20+ years, and yes, we have seen some shaky times, I have not always liked what they have said and often disagree, but they are entitled to that view weather we agree or not - but through all this they have always had my/our friendship and admiration of the hard work they have done over the years.(Running any ABBA site is just simply hard work at times) This goes for all ABBA sites.
What I would like to see most is an end to all this constant point scoring and trouble making that goes on. I share everything I have with the world – the reason the fan club has kept going all these years is I want to share my love of Abba. I’m not interested in having an exclusive, getting one up on others is not my style. My goal is that all Abba fans get to see anything and everything and get the same joy I do from these things. After all that’s what most of us do the sites for. Not to make a name for ourselves
If I have something on ABBA then it will be on the site for all to enjoy. Please feel free to copy any pictures from the site, but please be mindful of copying any works that are copyrighted. If we know the original author of text or story you’ll see a link. If you wish to use that text then please contact the author first.
the ABBA world /community was a wonderful place where we all helped one another. Some of that still remains in the older fans but by far those days are long gone and very much missed, by me anyway.
We are here for ABBA fans and nothing else, so just enjoy that, it's what we want and plan to do!
